Pistol Readiness Course

This is a more advanced pistol course than the first one. You need to be somewhat proficient with your handgun in order to keep up in this course. If you have any questions if you are capable please feel free to contact Joe (info below).
This course is designed to help the pistol shooter become more proficient with their handgun. You will pushed mentally and physically with your handgun and it’s operation. We will be covering target acquisition, shooting while moving, grips, stances, sights, and much more. We will start slow and progress very fast though the day. This course is not designed to teach you the operation of your handgun but to make you more proficient with it. We will not be covering basic handgun handling.
Our goal in this course is to make the shooter more proficient with his handgun, faster, more confident, and learn his/her weakness and be able to work on them. We will cover defensive shooting, target shooting, and aspects of how stress affects your ability to shoot.
We will be covering how to employ your handgun in a fighting situation, clearing malfunctions, and knowing how to use your handgun in a situation other than just static shooting.
You will need at a minimum 3 magazines, holster, and a way to hold your extra magazines on your body. You will need a minimum of 700 rounds of ammo for the course.
This is the Second of a 3 series course. We will offer a 1st and 3rd part also. .
Check-in at 9:30 a.m., we will start the course at 10:00 a.m. and end around 7:00 p.m. We will cover night firing with the pistol also.
