Women’s Handgun Course

Check In 9:30 a.m.

This course is designed for women who are interested in learning the operation and safety of handling a handgun. We will cover a lot of information but we will not over do it.

It would be best if each participant brought their own handgun but we have some if needed. Just let us know in advance. Each woman will shoot her handgun along with some of ours. Each woman needs to bring a minimum of 250 rounds for their handgun.

9:45 Safety Briefing

10:00-10:30 Weapon Safety, Loading, Unloading and Handling

10:30-11:00 Grip, Sights, Trigger Control, Stance

11:00-12:00 Static Shooting at various distances

12:00-1:15 Lunch

1:15-3:00 Shooting and getting more proficient with your handgun

3:00-4:45 Situational Shooting( from car, pulling from purse, stressful situations)

4:45-5:00 How to clean and store your handgun

Fee for the course is $75.00

This is a women’s course. No husbands, boyfriends, sons or any significant other will be allowed in the training pit during the class. We have enough instructors and safety officers.

Register as soon as possible, class is limited to 10 women.
